Matt Leighton specializes in the sale and leasing of commercial properties.

With twenty years of commercial real estate experience, he has earned the trust of many in the Kalamazoo Community.

Prior to joining Jaqua Commercial, he was with Callander Commercial, and prior to that Leighton was founder and owner of Leighton Real Estate, a full-service brokerage company. He also served as associate broker for five years at Kersten-Morris Real Estate & Leasing Co., LLC. Previously, he was a regional sales manager for Master Craft, a
printing manufacturer.

Leighton is actively involved in the commercial real estate community. As such, he is a member of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Institute and has earned the prestigious CCIM designation. He is also a member of the Michigan Association of Realtors.

Leighton earned a bachelor's degree in education with a minor in business from Western Michigan University.
